Once upon a time Mike realized after returning to his car that he had locked the keys and cell phone inside. A teenager riding his bike saw him kick a tire and say a few choice words. “What’s wrong?” he asked.
Mike explained his situation. “But even if I could call my wife,” He said, “she can’t bring him her car key, since this is our only car.” The teenager handed his cell phone to Mike and advised. “Call your wife and tell her I’m coming to get her key.”
“That’s seven miles round trip.”
“Don’t worry about it.”
An hour later, he returned with the key. Mike offered him some money, but he refused. “Let’s just say I needed the exercise,” he said. Then, like a cowboy in the movies, he rode off into the sunset.
Moral:
A tree is known by its fruit; a man by his deeds. A good deed is never lost; he who sows courtesy reaps friendship, and he who plants kindness gathers love. It is better to do a good deed near at home than go far away to burn incense stick!
Have a great week ahead..!
