Monday Motivation….. August 18, 2025 (760)
Two friends share a room. One day, one of them realizes that his 100 riyals is missing. Since no one else stays there, he naturally asks his roommate: “Did you see my 100 riyals?”
The roommate replies: “Yes, I took it. You were asleep, so I didn’t want to wake you.”
The matter ends there, and life goes on as usual.
A few days later, while rearranging his belongings, the first friend finds the missing 100 riyals inside his own bag. Realizing his mistake, he asks his roommate: “Why did you say you took it?”
Moral:
With a smile, the roommate replies: “I didn’t want trust issues between us. Sometimes, keeping peace is more important than proving a point.”
“In a shared life, trust is more valuable than money. True friendships are built on understanding, not just words.”
