Monday Motivation….. September 22, 2025 (765)
As passengers settled into their seats on a routine flight, Louis Newman, a sharply dressed businessman, noticed a woman with three young children heading toward his row in business class. With a furrowed brow and a hint of disbelief, he turned to the flight attendant.
“Are you sure she’s supposed to sit here?” he asked, clearly skeptical.
The stewardess smiled politely. “Yes, sir. These seats are assigned to Mrs. Debbie Brown and her children. Everything is in order.”
Louis sighed, his displeasure obvious. Throughout the flight, he continued to make subtle — and sometimes not-so-subtle — comments about the noise the children made, or how out of place the family seemed in business class.
But just as murmurs began to ripple among other passengers, the intercom crackled to life.
“This is your captain speaking,” came a calm voice. “We’ve reached cruising altitude, and you’re free to move about the cabin.”
There was a pause — then the captain continued, his tone shifting.
“I’d also like to give a special welcome to some very important passengers on today’s flight. Seated in 3A through 3D is my wife, Debbie, and our three children. I’m incredibly proud of them, and I’m thrilled they’re joining me on this trip. So if you’ve had the pleasure of sitting near them, I hope you’re treating them with the kindness and respect they deserve.”
A hush fell over the cabin. All eyes turned toward Debbie and her children — and then slowly shifted to Louis, who suddenly seemed very small in his oversized seat.

Moral:
Sometimes, the sky isn’t the only place where people are reminded to rise above. Be Humble!
