Monday Motivation….. April 11, 2011 (009)
A farmer had a dog, who used to sit by the roadside waiting for vehicles to come around.
As soon as a vehicle appears on the road, he would run down the road, barking and trying to overtake the vehicle.
One day a neighbour asked the farmer “Do you think your dog is ever going to catch a vehicle?”
The farmer replied, “That is not what bothers me. What really bothers me is what he would do if he ever caught one?”
Moral:
Many people in life behave like that dog who is pursuing meaningless goals. If we don’t have a Meaningful Goal in life, we shall not be able to make best use of the opportunities coming in our way.
