Monday Motivation….. March 21, 2011 (006)
Once, Mullah Nasruddin was traveling with his wife in a crowded bus. Two co-passengers started fighting in the bus for some reason and Mullah Nasruddin intervened to sort out the mater. The first person presented his side and after a patient listening, Mullah told, “You are Right”. Then the second person presents his case and after he competed, Mullah paused for sometime told, “You are also Right”. Mullah did the right thing to somehow convince both of them and they cooled down, but Mullah’s wife was very upset. After reaching home, she told Mullah, “You told both of them that they were Right, which is hard to believe. It seems that you were not judging them on the real facts and just wanted to please both of them. Your behavior showed that you are not a fair person”.
Mullah calmly told, “You are Right.”
Moral:
Depending on an individual’s perception, everyone is right. So instead of wasting our energy in fighting for who’s Right, we should concentrate on what’s Right. Life’s too short to fight and always remember, People do not win people fights. Lawyers do!
Wish you a great week ahead!
