Monday Motivation….. February 28, 2011 (003)
Once in a province, the fields were dried up and brown due to lack of rain. People were anxious and irritable as they searched the sky for any sign of relief.
Days turned into waterless weeks. No rain came. The priests of the local temples called for an hour of prayer in the town square the following Saturday. They requested that everyone bring an object of faith for inspiration.
At high noon on the appointed Saturday the people turned out as a whole, filling the square with anxious faces and hopeful hearts. The priests were touched to see the variety of objects clutched in prayerful hands like holy books, lockets, pictures & statues of God, items to worship.
When the hour of prayer ended, as if on magical command, a soft rain began to fall. Cheers swept the crowd as they held their treasured objects high in gratitude and praise.
From the middle of the crowd one faith symbol seemed to overshadow all the others a small nine-year-old child had brought an umbrella.

Moral:
When you do something in life, have complete faith that you will definitely succeed. Never do anything half-mindedly. Faith is a great foundation to build your life. Every tomorrow has two handles.  We can take hold of it by the handle of anxiety, or by the handle of faith. Choice is your’s…..
