Three engineers and three accountants were heading to a conference by train. At the station, the accountants each bought a ticket, while the engineers only purchased one.
Puzzled, one of the accountants asked, “How are three people going to travel on one ticket?”
An engineer smirked. “Watch and learn.”
Once on board, the accountants found their seats, while the engineers all squeezed into a restroom and shut the door.As the conductor made his rounds, he knocked on the restroom door. “Tickets, please!”
A single hand slipped out, holding the ticket. The conductor took it, punched it, and moved on.
The accountants were amazed. “Brilliant! We should try that on the way back!”
After the conference, the accountants decided to use the trick themselves. They bought just one ticket, but to their surprise, the engineers didn’t buy any.
“Wait… how are you going to travel with NO ticket?” one accountant asked.
An engineer grinned. “Watch and learn.”
Once on board, the accountants crammed into a restroom, and the engineers piled into another nearby.
The train departed.
A moment later, one engineer quietly slipped out, walked up to the accountants’ restroom, knocked on the door, and said—“Tickets, please.”
Moral:
Intelligence is not the same thing as being smart. There are many smart dumb people in the world. Beware of Engineers around you…
Have a great week ahead…!
