Once upon a time Jack was walking in the park late evening. Suddenly he heard scream coming from behind bushes. He stopped to listen and understood that a woman is in danger. He heard sounds of fighting and muttering. For several moments, he was hesitating, should he get involved?
He panicked. He was frightened for his own safety. Maybe it is better to call the police? Then he realized that a woman‘s voice becomes weaker, so he knew he has to act quickly. Can he run away from this? Finally, he decided that he will help this unknown woman even at the risk of his own life. He felt some strange transformation inside, the moral and physical strength, so he ran behind the bushes. He pulled the attacker off the girl. They both felt to the ground and grappled for several minutes. Then the assailant jumped up and ran away.
Breathing hard He slowly came up to the girl, who was cowering behind a tree. It was dark, so he could not see her face clearly. He felt, that she is very frightened, so he talked to her from a distance: “You are safe now, it‘s ok, the man had run away“. After a few moments, he heard her words with a great amazement in her voice: “Dad, is that you?” Then he realized that the girl was his youngest daughter.
Moral:
The good inside of all of us is wrapped in a layer of apathy, and we forget how much potential we have within us, in each and every one of us, to change the world for the better for ourselves and our children, and thus to bring about oneness. Always remember, doing good holds the power to transform us on the inside, and then ripple out in ever-expanding circles that positively impact the world at large!
Have a great week ahead…!
