Monday Motivation….. January 20, 2014 (154)
Once upon a time on a nice summer day in late 60’s a farmer named Bill was working in his corn farm in the outskirts of Chicago. A man named Mike came waking to him and asked him how long it will take to reach Chicago Downtown. Bill did not answer Mike. Mike asked him again and thought that the farmer did not listened what he is asking. Still No answer Bill kept on working. Mike presumed that either the farmer is mentally retarded or he is deaf and started walking away on his way to Downtown. Mike must have traveled a quarter of mile and he heard Bill calling him and running towards him. When Bill Caught his Breath he replied to Mike that he is just 2 hours away of Downtown provided he do not make any stop. Mike was surprised and puzzled to hear this and asked Bill why was he not able to answer in the first place. Bill answered that he was not aware of how fast mike can walk to utilize his available time and can only answer his question upon seeing him walk.

Moral:
Time is an equal opportunity employer. Each human being has exactly the same number of hours and minutes every day. Rich people can’t buy more time. Scientists can’t invent new minutes. And you can’t save time to spend on another day. Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving. No matter how much time you’ve wasted in the past, you still have an entire tomorrow.
Success depends upon using it wisely – by planning and setting priorities. Time is worth more than money, and by killing time, we are killing our own chances of success..!
Have a great week ahead!
